This book is written by the same author who wrote The Devil Wears Prada, a chick lit classic. I just finished this quick and easy read. I started it on the plane on my way to B.C. and finished the book on the plane on the way back. It is about a young couple living in New York. Brooke works two jobs as a dietitian to make ends meet and to support her husbands music career. In the beginning of the book his music career is pretty much non existent. He does get discovered and rocketed into super stardom in a very short amount of time. This book takes you through the struggles they face as a couple in the spotlight, dealing with paparazzi and new found fame. I appreciated that Brooke was not willing to give up her career because she is a strong, independent, educated woman. I felt that the issues they faced as a couple were realistic and dealt with in realistic ways. I, of course, also liked it because it is also a love story with a happy ending.
